Hello, I am wanting to make some noise marines but not sure the best route to aproach it from. I was thinking I could buy the sonic weapons pack and khorne berzerkers since there are 6 guns per pack and 12 zerkers per box. Is there anything on the model that would make that not work? Are there any models better suited?

your better off making them out of normal chaos marines if your using the packs.

Technically the noise weapons will fit onto the model.

But it will need some conversions due to fluff-wise problems. Those Berzerkers have those helmet "wings" and khorne iconography on torsos and legs. The iconography can be scraped off, but cutting those wings cleanly off can be a bit fiddly.

It can be done but it requires a little bit more work.

but yeah I would go with regualr chaos marines and also maybe mix in a few possesed parts to make them look more chaosy

I noticed that with SoB actually on GW website. ebay seems to be only way to go, just getting an army

that would be because the standard box of chaos marines comes with an extra sprue that contains:
-plasma pistols
-all 3 special weapons
-icons of the chaos gods and undivided
-heavy bolter
-champion parts
-power weapon

Regular space marines do not come with this extra sprue to turn them into veterans or whatever. In most cases people have to buy the assault marine box or a veteran upgrade box to get those parts. That'd be why CSM seem more expensive...

Now all of that said, do not mix noise marine parts onto a khorne berzerker. It looks awful, and takes a lot of work to clean up the khorne berzerkers until they are generic.... the second bit of problem is that the khorne berzerker helmets are useless for making noise marines, unless you have the means and know-how to give them the giant speakers on the helmets. Just grab the basic line-marines.
