Hey,

I bought a big order of paints online and they came in the mail the other day. The problem was, once I cracked it open, everything was frozen! I don't expect miracles, especially with Manitoba's balmy -25 outside as a daily, but is it a pain in the arse. After having spent a day warming them by the furnace in a container of hot water and pulling them out, I've noticed that some; not all; of the paints have clumped almost uselessly. I've put some water in them and shaken them up, stirred them, and set them down. But is it hopeless and should I contact the company that sold them?

They're Citadel paints from Miniwargaming.com. I love the site and the staff are great, but they're not back in until the new year apparantly. I was just wonering if I'm stuck with dead paint until they phone me?

I think putting the water in them may have been a mistake. I have had some p3 paint freeze before, I simply left them for several days in the house at room temperature, gave them a quick shake before using them and they have been fine.

Yea, I'd contact them, they'll probably replace the now useless ones.
