Got my first building for Christmas, 'the Undertakers'.
I'm at my in-laws but I managed to slip into the spare bedroom and assemble it in peace on Xmas morning
Not quite finished - need to do the roofs and add the sign etc - but I need to paint it first when I get home next week.
The wagons are by 4Ground from North Star website, managed to make them too
I don't hang about - if a kit goes in my 'to do' cupboard then it could be years (literally) before It comes out again, and I really want my
Western town asap.

It is indeed!
Can you tell us where you get all your kits from, and how you prep them for painting?
Thanks!

Loving those carts. Buildings are great too. Think I'm going to make a small table for this sometime in the new year.

The buildings are all from Blackwater Gulch (clue is in the name of the forum
The carts are 4Ground, and the figure is my own (ebob miniatures)
Only the undertaker building is painted, and I didn't prep it in any way.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I need the gallows, and a large saloon, which I think I'm going to have to scratch build myself.. Oh, and a bank.

If you're looking at getting BattleFlag buildings, go for the "official" Blackwater Gulch ones, unless you want something different.. the BWG ones were updated slightly to fit the minis, like the boardwalks and balconies are a bit bigger to fit the 30mm bases, I think some of their other buildings are made for smaller minis.

It was interesting that the 'street with no name' buildings were pre-assembled - that is, the door and window frames etc are done for you - you just have to fit the 4 walls together and you're job done! good for beginners.

Yeah, I got a bunch of the Battle Flag sets a while ago - they fit together excellently, even the more complex ones. I just need to get around to painting mine. Can you let us know how you painted the Undertakers? It looks good.

There's no tricks - I just painted it blue with a big brush.

I love the Battle Flag buildings, they look great. And they look like they are closer to scale than the Gamecraft building. The one I got with the Kickstarter is a nice looking model, but seems a tad small scalewise with the figures.
Any idea who carries these in the USA?

I'm not aware of a US stockist but international postage is only a little more than we pay over here. We pay 10% of the price, international postage is 10% of price+£1/model): http://www.wargame-buildings.com/postage.html
