Wasn't sure if this was big enough for the News and rumours thread so I put it here.
When attempting to purchase Some incubi In my local GW, the manager had said they had sent the last of their stock to another store. He was told GW aren't restocking the item anymore as he doesn't get any replacements for this kit and has been told he won't be anymore. Meaning, it is moving to a mail order item. This isn't the usual manager talking out of his ass nonsense we usually see, as he was told this directly by his supplier. Thought it might be something to bring up.

Well, this is not really unusual. The same happened to DE Wyches and whatnot in the former editions. I'm glad to have 10 metal Incubi already painted up.

Probably has something to do with the bad finecast molds for these models. I have 15 of them in finecast and only 3 of them where, eh, ok. The others had mis-mold and bubbles. Still use them but not real happy with the amount I had payed for them. Really glad I had 10 metal ones before the finecast came out. Anyhow that would be my guess as to why.

I'll bet they ran out of the run of retail boxes and have not bothered to produce any more, simply moving them to special order only, happens all the time. When they released Codex: CSM they sent out a run of some of the characters to GW stores then removed them back to direct only once the run was sold out. I'll bet the same happens with DA too. The time to worry is when they list them as out of stock on their webiste or remove the listing completely.

Couldnt it also mean a resculpt or plastic release?

Hah, no, they're very recent models. This is just from his local GW store.

Most Finecast models are only meant to be in stores for a while before going to direct-only. Plastics are the only thing you can reliably get everywhere.
