Ok, well I hope that the title has drawn in some helpful dakka members!
I recently got VERY interested in Firestorm armada. The game looks like a ton of fun, is affordable to start up, and even more so to expand.
I have several issues that I would like a bit of guidance on. The average income of the local area (approx 70k people) is US $35,000. The local gaming scene is reasonably admirable for the population.
My
FLGS (we have no
gw etc...) is run by a great fella who would LOVE to get more people in his store (obviously for monitary reasons) and see the miniature hobby grow locally. His resources are, however, extremely limited due to pace of business, cost of start up, lack of support from his distributor etc...
This all being the case, I have decided to stand up a gaming club named after his store. The idea is to have a roster of all club members, along with the games (be they
40k, board games, card games etc) that the clubbers play. This way when joe gamer walks in and sees the stores great inventory and goes to pass up a purchase because "noone plays this stuff here

" he/she will see a list of friendly faces along side the games played etc... leading to a growth in the local gaming scene, but also to the
FLGS sales. I want the club to be able to purchase property of the store, for the store. This stuff will be campaign books terrain pieces etc... usable by the club and for tournies etc.
Please dakka, gimme some more ideas I can use to get my
FLG store owner support from his supplier (so he can, in turn, actually support the games like FSA and Warmahordes), more business, and me more play mateserrr

..... ummm more club members....
