So, I've just started stripping some old models, some of my own and some from friends, and I've got down a few heavy levels of poorly applied paint and reached a layer of green. These are Space Marines I'm stripping at the moment. Initially I thought this was just yet another layer, but after some scrubbing and even chipping away with a modelling knife I can't find a layer underneath, which makes me think that this might actually be the colour of the plastic underneath... except that I don't remember green plastic space marines at all?

Is this something GW did make, or do I just need to scrub harder? The colour of the plastic is close to a Dark Angels Green, if you're wondering!

Thanks guys!

I don't think so, unless someone has constructed an entire space marine out of it.

I'll probably end up cutting a hand off if I can't scrub it away, to be honest!
