As posted up in another thread I have created an email if people need answers to questions. This will be trial based since you have to remember that I do have a life too and I sleep 11p-7a mountain standard time lol. I have noticed that groups are able to be a lot more stable and have more fun if they have someone on tap to answer questions for them.

What you may consider doing is including any questions you get (asked anonymously of course) here along with your response. That will help prevent answering the same thing several times and may be a valuable resource for new players to the game like myself as a quick reference tool.

That's a good idea AoR. If you decided to do that, Blue then i'll be happy to link it in the beginners sticky. Actually, even if you don't i'd like to put the email address in there if that's okay?

Sure you can toss up the email and good though AoR. I have several people that already text me questions so rather use to getting random questions out of the blue lol. Haven't received an emails yet so hopefully the addy works haha.

Honestly, I think a rules Q&A thread here might be better. Like even this thread! Just change the title, take out the email. Let people ask questions in here and get answered by anyone knowledgeable.

I think the point is that BD doesnt get email notifications for subscribed threads, but is able to check his email far more frequently (i may be wrong of course) so it is easier for him to answer via email/PM....but that would work just as well if there was a question with no time limit (like mid game for example)...just a thought...

There is of course the frequently asked questions thread Pacific started a little while back which could/did serve the same function but people seemed to run out of questions!

on a more serious note: It might be worth utilising BD's email and and then bumping the FAQ thread with answers so others can see? You can always post here as well i guess....

The email's purpose is that I always have my phone on me so as long as I'm awake and not tied up you'll get an answer within a minute or two. It's there for those "crap we are in the middle of a match and don't know." incidents.
