I am considering placing a Power Maul in each Wolf Guard squad for more consistent tank busting and better str.

Looks good to me.
I run somthing similar, but adding Njal and Bjorn in place of the Rune Prist and the Thunder Wolves

I never understood the appeal of these lists. There are so many AP2 blast weapons out there... all it would take is a single Shot from my Medusa on turn one and half your army is potentially gone.

These list generally about fun, not winning. I would never take one of these to a tournament, but if some guy pulled out 180 Orks I’m in!

You're going to tell me you can wipe out 5 terminators that are spaced out 2 inches apart with one shot? You can only hit one guy with your large blast since they are on 25 mm bases 0.o

I think the point he was trying to make with all of the AP2 Weapons out there a Footslogging list like this is going to have a small chance of surviving till the end of the game and he is correct to a point.

The thing is on paper this is a no win list, but in practice this has not been true with me. Now I have not taken on a Guard Pie List or multiple Vindicators, but I have taken on 90+ Orks with a Battle Wagon, Nid Swarm List and a Chaos Marine List multiple times and won most of my games. that goes into use of terrain and overall tactics.

True, but these are Space Wolves, so a large number of “Heroic Figures” is nice and fluffy. Between Logan and the Thunderlord you have a lot of killing power, including Hordes and Mechanized.

Funny themey lists = cool gaming

Stupid IG Leaf blower lists = gayas gaming that no one enjoys, cept the douche playing it...



Oh and I play a 30 man or 40man GK Terminator list and have no problem lasting through a game.

Got to test this list today, thinking of dropping the wolf lord and a few of the prettier upgrades to make room for another 10 man squad of terminators.

I'd be interested to see how it works out.

I'd be keen to do a small hard army that doesn't require a full case to carry around!

Updated the first post. Changed the list to include another group of Terminators and to remove the Wolf Lord along with some other options. I have a feeling that at some point I may need to remove the Rune Priest to add in maybe another Thunderwolf, combi-weapons and other war gear.

The power mauls woundnt be a bad idea, most people tell me to do that as well when I have made posts for my lists.
