Bloodcrushers are currently counted as Infantry because "too heavy to be cavalry." But given that Chaos Marine Lords and Sorcerors on Jugs become Calvary, could the same happen to Daemons in the next codex?

You would think so. Daemons may tempt me back to regular 40k if they arent shat on.

Are there any rumors floating around about this? I know daemons have something coming up soon.

No rumours just my own speculation.

I'd imagine Daemons will get shat on quite hard in their next codex, since the changes to Flamers and Screamers has seen them become so heavily dominant.

I could see Juggers becoming cavalry, but I'll be amazed if they keep their Eternal Warrior. Rather than their fancy special rules, they'll just get Daemonic Assault and the Daemon USR.

One abusive list is no reason to even think "Daemons will get shat on quite hard..."
Actually, simply removing the army-wide Eternal Warrior balances the newer Flamers/Screamers quite nicely as it opens them up to counters from S8+ shooting and Power Fists/Force weapons et all become serious threats to them in assaults.

Juggers will very likely follow the way of the CSM versions and become Cavalry unit type, just as I'd expect Daemon Princes to become similar in basics to their CSM counterparts.

I'd also expect pts ajustments right across the board as well, since the current costing is still a late 4th/very early 5th edition costing. (meaning absolutely everything not in the WD update is borked - especially the Troops section!)

If anything, I don't expect too much in the way of big changes overall to 40k Daemons;
- Some re-costing of pts
- more upgrades in general and some re-jiggling of some current Gifts
- useless units becoming playable
- addition of unit champs so we can fight in challenges without always risking our Heralds
- chariots becoming true vehicles
- a few new units.

Making Juggs calvary will greatly increase their effect in games. Their area of influence will jump incredibly.
