X1 Battlesuit + Multi Tracker + Burst Cannon + Missile Pod = 62
X1 Battlesuit + Multi Tracker + Burst Cannon + Missile Pod = 50
You have the same suit listed twice with different point amounts. I take it the 62 point is really supposed to be PR +
MP +
MT?
My personal advice at this point level would be to drop the 50 point suit and the
SD & team leader from the broadside to get a second broadside. Now put both broadsides in separate groups on opposite ends of your deployment zone but in areas where they have good fields of fire. This will force your opponent to either split up his force to deal with both of them or go after one of them buying some time for the other to get more shots in. Yes you'll probably loose one faster than if you had shield drones on them, but at this point level buying team leader and the shield drone for one more wound is too much when you could have more guns on the field (and 2 wounds for that matter). For that matter you should also drop the
SD on the Shas'
El to buy more guns (and I don't mean a gun drone as
imho they're not so good offensively).
The other option is to drop the broadside idea and go with a hammerhead with railgun. The down side is it's less reliable of a shot but the bonus is you are adaptable to horde or tanks.
I'd also change your fire warriors from 2 groups of 10 to 3 groups of 6 because with a
ld of 7 they're going to start thinking of running after taking only a few wounds. More units = less risk of models running away from a bad morale roll.
The other thing to consider would be to forget about the heavy support slot altogether for more crisis suits and have them try fill the role the broadside was doing. You could then make them
FB + PR +
MT for tank killing and
MEQ killing (I'd deep strike them to get them in range).
