I thought I would share my Mortar Teams, I did my best to make them unique to each other, and I think it turned out good.
I feel like picture one and two are missing something on the base, I ran out of crates, but the one I used on nr 3 used a lot of space...
Going to slop on some Vallejo Earth Paste when ever it arives in the mail.
This is my favorite, it started out with the guy on the right, I'm not sure I like the guy on the left...
There is a pair of legs from the command sprue that would fit better for his stance, but I don't have that righto now so I thought I'd just go with this one.
Not much to say here
This was the first one I made, crate is from the Demolisher kit, it ended up too crowded, but I think it works for just one person.
I'm not sure where I should add the other crew man, I kinda like it with just one!
Feel free to comment and make suggestions on how I can improve them!

The 3rd one could have a 2nd guardsmen standing behind the kneeling one handing a motar to him over his shoulder.

Thank you! It's not easy when you got 6 people you all want to be unique, when you only got three arms to work with.
@Snrub I was thinking something in those lines, but I just need the right arms and legs for it.

The first crew reminds me of the "There's got to be a better way" infomercials. "I've mortared for over 20 years and mortaring has never been easier thanks to MortarMax, the mortarman's mortar!"
Looks pretty awesome.

These are good, lots of flavor, no monotony. My favorite is the first team. In my mind, the guy on the right just missed horribly with a round, and the guy on the left is yelling "what'd ya take that shot for??"

Looking good, like the poses, that top guy is all "Come At Me Bro!"

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

The first one looks like they're going "Oh COME ON!" in response to a miss XD
I like these mortar teams.

Haha, thanks guys!
It was indeed something like that Red Knight!
My first thought when I made him was "Oh well, gak happens" and then the other one turned out a little bit more like Brokksamson said, "Come and me bro!" I do however think a different pair of legs would change that, the ones I mentioned from the Command Sprue, but it's growing on me!
I hope to start painting these guys soon, waiting for my airbrush and paste in the mail, so it should be right around the corner.

Those look great! I love number two with the "Not the face" arm.
Suggestion for future: Guardsman popping out of crate yelling with a shell in each arm.
