Im getting back into Emperors Children after a failed foray into Dark Eldar. So the only problem I'm having with the new dex is that I have to take a Slaaneshi Lord to get Noise Marines as troops.

How would you guys run the lord? What unit would you put him with? Would you make him the Warlord?

Also what are some other fun Mono Slaanesh tactics you have come across as far as Noise Marines and good units with MoS?

I like running one with a jump pack and murder sword attached to some raptors.

Beyond that, I simply take blobs of marines with MOS and the IOE, sprinkling in melta guns and power swords/fists.

It's a special feeling running 79 marines with FNP.

Well, I run my Slaaneshi Lord on a bike leading a 6 men Biker unit. Bikers with FnP are decent. Another option is to let the Lord lead a Spawn unit.

What HQ do you run if you are just hauling blobs of FNP?

Spawn are beasts and ignore difficult terrain. A Lord on bike can join them and keep up their speed. But he has to test for difficult terrain.

My EC is all about the AP3 flamer template.

So I run Lucius with a 5 man unit of CSM with MOS and icon in a rhino (thus keeping my units in groups of 6)

My Lord has MOS, Bike, Burning Brand, and a Lightning Claw. He rides with 5 other bikers with two melta guns, MOS, and Icon.

The other templates come from two Heldrakes and one more 6 man noise marine HTH unit with Doom siren in rhino.

Mine has the murder sword. Fun to play. Watch the opponent moving his HQ away from the Lord. So this sword has some tactical impact.

When people realize that you have an I6 character with an S8 AP 1 instant death weapon, they get scared.
