Been looking at changing my marines up recently. Gonna do a MotF list with drop poding dreads and sternguard but my rhinos are still useful for my tac squads to rush and claim objectives, then used as mobile cover.

I always see arguments about which is better, rhinos or pods but can they work together????

If you're going to be using tactical squads that way, simply run more pods. However, if you plan to use tactical squads for fire support, then razorbacks with combat squadded marines are better.

I agree with above that more pods are a good choice. I've used both in conjunction before and I will say that with DP coming down first turn with wolf guard in it my opponent was distracted long enough to let my rhino live to deliver its payload and shoot some stuff before getting popped

I use 3 pods and 2 rhinos I've used in a foot horde C:SM list lately and it works well. You just use the rhinos in your back court and for any late game mobility you need It's worked extremely well. So I'd say yes, they can work very well. They can also offer a modicum of protection against helldrakes.
