Great painting job! Both main colours are really smooth and it's nicely detailed.

It needs to be too, what with those figures being like £7/$10 ish each.

but please DON'T spoil it with OSL (just my opinion, but OSL just ruins good paintwork as far as I'm concerned)

To answer the question as to color:

It is a mix of 50:50 Ceramite White:Screaming Skull
The wash was Gryphonne Sepia watered down 50:50 with water.

Great work, a very neat paint job. Still not sold on the pose though, what's the point of holding a shield if you are going to do that with it? LOL

Maybe he's posed like that because a challenge was issued, a team mate has gone to step forth but he blocked him with the shield while declaring he would accept instead.

It's one of the mos smooth paint jobs i've seen....if I am honest though I have to admit that the color is a bit off for me. It's. VERY white and doesn't look much like bone. That's a minor criticism though because you're obviously a talented painter

looks pretty solid, personally wouldnt bother with the OSL as I think it would take away from the crispness of the paint job
