I am assembling my Deathwing Knights right now, and I am having a tough time deciding to robe them or not. What are you guys doing?

Thats really all there is too it. If Deathwing Termies aren't wearing robes then they aren't Deathwing Termies. They are pansies.

Back on topic: I'd robe them unless you have plans to run them as both DW and BK DW. If that is the case, it might be worth it to go the no robe route to make them more diverse. If you do go no robe, magnetize the arms/hands.

Robes are kinda the dark Angel thing.

So I started building them with robes, it is quite obvious robes are the majority. I am not entirely sure I like the resulting twister poses all the models are stuck in, but its to late to stop now.

The robes help to set them apart from other deathwing squads, but then so will their weapon kit out. I would say the key is what do you like best? Do you like your armored troops also in robes? I like the veteran figs, but generally the whole robed armored trooper on the battlefield is rather silly to me. So do what you like with it.

They look more boss in robes. The none robed bodies are mainly for the Deathwing options in the box.

Can you have them robed but with helmets? That's how I would like to have them. Terminators always seem less menacing without their helmet. I can just picture guard going against a terminator without helmet... "Oh look that's Fred, my son's dentist. What are you doing in Tactical Dreadnought Armour Fred?"

Yes there are 6 helmeted heads, however one for the terminators heads is molded with the chest so i will have to do some xacto work.

I plan on giving all the models in the box helmets, but I also plan on saving the Knights' robes for just Terminator Sergeant models, to fit the theme of my army, because they aren't going to be Dark Angels.
