I will Ringer in a 1850pt League game this Wednesday night, 6:30 pm PST on a LIVE webcam. This Wednesday will be week 2 of the League.

This is for my local game store League Night. It will be an ETC style game with a League twist. There are 4 teams of 5 players. Matches will be figured out the ETC way but scoring is handled a little differently. Due to this being a 6 week league and knowing during that time a League player may miss a game we are only counting the Top 3 Overall scores, combining Primary Objective & Secondary Objective Scores, the remaining 2 players will just add their Secondary Objective Scores to the Top 3 scores. Max Primary Objective points per game being 20 points & Max Secondary Objective will be 10 points per game for a total of 30 points. This gives a Team a chance to have a "Ringer" help out their team while a League player is absent without giving that team a chance to abuse the Ringer rule. This also gives a team a chance to use some Tactics during the Match-Ups. Captains are allowed during the League games to monitor his team games and advise his team members to not worry about Primary Objective and focus on just Secondary Objectives if the other Players in his Team seem to be doing better on the Primaries or vise versa, but a Captain cannot give specific tactical advice for team members current games. Did I make that clear?
 
I will be playing my Orks. I will add my list to this thread right before I leave for league as well as the Mission objectives/points. Remember, I'm a Ringer so I will be using a mix of units and testing some tactical ideas I've had. I wouldn't plan on seeing my new Tournament list during this game but it should be a lot of fun.
 
I hope some of you can check it out. There will be a chat window open and I will try to check it or have someone monitor it as much as possible. It's all being streamed through Own3D. I will also have my iPhone so I will get dakkadakka and Facebook notifications as well during the game.
 
I will try to take photos to add here after the game as well.

Game was FUN!! Got matched up vs Bugs and they ended up taking my Orks down.

I didn't get any photos, sorry. This was a HUGE learning experience with the live cam feed. I will be doing more of these live games but I don't think I will be doing them while trying to run the League, help other players and Ringer a game. Just to much going on.

Thanks to Patrick, my opponent, for putting up with all the delays during this game. REMATCH!!! haha

Yeah, we had some issues with the Feed. Sorry about that guys.
Nids are tough. I think they are the toughest match up for Orks, at least for my Orks. As a Ringer I played a bit wreckless but that's ok, I wanted to see how things would play out. Patrick is a really good player, and he just Won our last League. I need to have a rematch outside of our league with him.

I love your ork army list - its an elite army... The polar opposite of we see so often now. If I played Orks I'm sure it'd be a lot like your army.

So a question for you... What are in your opinion the best methods for Orks to counter Ion Arm monstrous creatures (besides shooting your Lootaz at the Flyrants to ground them)?
