Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

I have been knocking around the idea of having 3 quad launcher guns (in one squad). My main enemies are Dark Angels, Chaos (Plague Marines) and IG. The main thing I really like about them is that I can hide behind terrain and blow out chunks out of the enemy. Like the idea of multiple pulse rifle like blasts raining down. They do cost a little more than a chimera though. And another down side is that I can't fire every turn. Has anyone else used these in battle?

Money wise, I found a GREAT stand in for $20 each.

Have fun dealing with a 12-shot barrage weapon. It might kill things effectively, but after the first attempt you'll replace them with something simpler.

They're great at forcing saves. You will need to get more familiar with the Multiple Barrage rules, although once you get the method down you'll be set.

Well, once you get the method down and buy a set of 12 3" templates so you can mark the position of every single shot.
