Would a disruptor beacon in an apoc game be useful for stopping Gray Knight deep strikes? I'm sorry for the noobish question.

If you bring enough to cover the whole board.

Not really. It's only AV 13 and destroyed by a single glance or pen, so by turn 2 when the reserves start arriving it will be destroyed.

Also note that many groups ban disruptor beacons because it's really annoying when your forces end up scattered all over the table and you have to keep walking around everywhere to use them, so don't count on having one available.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

My problem is that its a three way game a friend of mine playing renegades starting on one side and Me (chaos) who starts in the middle of the board, versus gray knights who deep strike all of their forces, versus tyranids who start at the other end of the board. I just feel that the Gray Knights are going to jump all over me and rip me to shreds. I thought with the disruptor beacon that I could send them into the tyranids to gain time so I can retreat and regroup with the renegades and make a stand.
