1250 BA.
Don't really know what to do. Either play Memp or Librarian, Assault Termies or Tacticals with a Cyclone, Should I mech the ASM or have them DS?
Should I bring the Stormraven for a 1250 or is it too expensive.

I would say get rid of the termies and raider.

Beef up the asm squads and slap some jp on the libby and the priest and have a party.

Or give tda to the libby and priest and have em slaughter stuff with the termies.

I am not that experienced player myself.

However, the reason I invested in a Assault Terminator Squad with a Land raider in the first place is that
I got completely ripped from a Shooting GK army in a 1500pts battle a couple of weeks ago.

At that point, I played a Baal Pred, 2x Razorbacks with ASM inside, 1 5x ASM with JP, a dreadnought and some other stuff.
At turn 1, he immobilized my Baal Pred, Exploded my two Razorbacks and decimated the JP ASM Squad.
Just felt so stupid.

It happens but ya blood angles can be really tough and fast moving.

I personally like a lot of feel no pain asm.

I would suggest less razors and rhinos and such this edition. They give up easy first blood and are easy to kill.

I like baal preds and maybe speeders. They can keep up with your fast units as well give them the fire support they need.

If you use termies you may want to focus your army around making them work as well as they can.

A storm raven could be a really useful addition. Lots of guns, its a pretty awesome flyer.

Yes, and GK shoot insane aswell with Psybolts.

Not really sure what to bring against GKs.
I beat a GK army (3 razor, 3 chimeras, 3 Rifledreads - list) by running a Land Raider up towards the dreads. Inside it, I had 10x Assault marines.
Haven't played against Paladins yet though.

500 pts is too many to reserve in a 1250 game. Do that at your own risk.

Basically, a terminator/LR combo is so expensive that your list needs to be built around it. It's pretty good, but if you take two flyers, it will be the main focus of everything your opponent has, which is probably not good.

I would go with 1 storm raven and give it hurricane bolters. that should cause some chaos and destruction.
