Here's the scenario:

A Helldrake Zooms over an enemy unit during a move that makes it exit the table (and enter ongoing reserves).

Is the Helldrake allowed to perform a Vector Strike attack? Vectore strike is performed at the end of movement, but at that point it is no longer on the table. Is that relevant or does the Vector Strike still occur?

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

The strike occurs. There is no rule stating that the strike is dependent on the helldrake still being on the table.

Given the new FAQ I can see no rules issues as Vector Strike ignores cover saves now so the final position of the FMC or Helldrake doesn't matter anymoe.

Completely missed that little gem, when thinking about V.S.

Isn't their a rule about models in reserves not being able to use any of their special rules?
If so, the helldrake would enter reserves before it would strike, and once in reserves it would be unable to strike.

I'll have to dig around the rule book later.
