Yep, the Kaya's love wolves. If you can find someone to split it with you the two player starter box would be an Outstanding deal and good way to start out since it's got all of what you want.
I hear Reeves are really bad and just not worth it though.

well I was reading on battle college the skinwalkers are better with a support caster helping them while kaya is more a beast caster :\
now that would be great as I want 3 warpwolves, but I would love 2 small or 1 full unit of skinwolves (and maybe shifting stones?

iirc, the only thing Kaya can do for Skinwalkers is giving them Stealth... not bad, anyway.
I don't understand your concern about them (but I would love 2 small or 1 full unit of skinwolves). in the 2p battlebox there's a unit of five that's the number they're sold. you could get the UA once released, and use it as UA for a full unit, or as 6th trooper to make two 3men units.

kaya is the way you want to go reeves are okay but you'd need the full unit to make them worthwile Skinwalkers are just fun with stealth and the Alpha to give them all a second attack is pretty much the reason i'm getting back to my wolfpack

well its not a concern about them, more about the caster who helps them, I read that some other caster is better with them giving them 20 def or something

I think its eKaya that has a Theme Force that uses a couple units of Skinwalkers. Gives them Advanced Deploy iirc.

Just throwing this out there OP, wolves of orboros are a nightmare to model. I'm still trying to find a way to properly convert them to where they're holding a spear in one hand maybe, or something. Aligning their wrist sockets with the hands holding the spear is a chore, and the slightest bend with snap them.

Brass rod their spears. Brass rod everyone's spears. I long for the day PP just sells models with pre-drilled hands and weapon heads and packs lengths of brass rod in with the model.

There are no DEF buffs in Circle (if there were, they'd be better on Bloodtrackers), but Kromac and Morvahna can both buff their armour, making them 18, or 20 when engaged. The Alpha is close to a must-have, since he'll effectively double their hitting power.
As for the other things:
I can't recommend Reeves at all. They're badly over-priced, no warlocks have ranged attack buffs (apart from maybe Curse of Shadows, kinda) and they synergise badly with themselves--Snap Fire and Quick Work both trigger off a kill, but when you do a combined attack to actually be able to hit things, only one model will get those benefits. For ranged, I'd recommend Woldstalkers, or Nyss Hunters (a mercenary unit who will also work for Circle).
Warpwolves are the best armour-cracking models the faction has. The best is probably the Stalker, as it and the Feral can put out amazing damage against one target, but the Stalker also has a slightly longer threat range, brings a very useful animus, and can also handle infantry. The Pureblood won't do much damage by itself, but has a toolkbox of other useful stuff--the spray, Ghostly and especially the animus--if you run into a buffed Stormwall or Galleon, you'll be grateful you have it. A Gorax is a common light to take alongside wolves, mainly because the animus will give them the extra power you need when assassinating, or when you need an enemy model to die this turn, no matter what else.
Wolves are....solid. They're good at clogging up the table with Reach, and can hit fairly hard on the charge with their UA. The minion Gatorman Witch Doctor helps them a bit with his Zombify spell, making them harder to eliminate or break.
pKaya tends to be very good at low point games, but struggles with higher value ones, or scenarios. Her trademark ability is sending a beast out to kill stuff, then reeling it back in with Spirit Door, but she also has a good debuff (since speed penalties stop models charging, try to tag the big enemy heavy with it), and her passive attack bonus is very powerful with a Stalker, when doing a trample, or anything else that needs multiple attack rolls.
eKaya is probably the best beast warlock that Circle has. Her big trick is to send her beasts out to smash stuff at amazing ranges, then reel them back in safe from retatiation, and Shadow Pack can leave ranged-heavy lists very frustrated.

And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich." |
