So i've used two different types of super glue, one medium strength one high strength and neither one will hold my tech priest together. Any Suggestions?

You could try pinning the model?

How much of the stuff are you using? Ideally you should just use a small amount to allow it to set quickly.

I use one to two drops depending on the surface area of the piece to be glued, I've built a ton of metal models before, and i have no idea whats going wrong here

I had a piece where some of the factory lubricant got on my model. I had to scrub the crap off to get anything to hold. I would, personally, try to A) scrub it clean, and then B) clamp the piece down after gluing, then leave the model alone for several hours to let it set. And pin it, of course. I am a pinning junkie, personally, and pin pretty much every joint on my models. If you have trouble clamping it, you can use bluetack to brace the arm (or gun or whatever) while the glue is drying, and then remove the bluetack later.

Sounds good, I'll give it a good scrub down and dig out some clamps.
So I feel like an idiot but what is pinning?

Pinning is when you drill a small hole in the parts you want to connect. For example, 1 hole in the middle of the arm piece and 1 hole in the same spot on the actual model. Then using a piece of paper click or other similar metal/plastic rod, you glue the rod inside the arm hole and them glue the hole shebang onto the model via the hole you drilled in the model. It REALLY helps hold models together, and is something you should do with all metal parts. I made a Warboss from a metal Ogryn and Ive dropped him a few times on the hard floor and the parts that break off are only the ones not pinned

Is the glue old? If, when you take a whiff you're eyes don't water it's too old & should be chucked.

You should wash it first, then pin it and glue it together. If you don't want to pin, you can drill a small hole in the parts, put a little super glue in, some GS over that, and then more superglue to create a super-strong bond. It's not as strong as pinning, but still strong.
