here we are, finally got one of these kits, now I have to assemble it.

I'll have to ask a couple of days off to put together this thing...

btw, I don't like very much the standard pose, pretty dumb, imho.
so, I'm here to ask suggestions on how to assemble/repose it (possibly, without condemn my soul to eternal damnation due to extreme profanity and blasphemy in the process...).
up to now, I'm leaning torward this solution: http://privateerpressforums.com/showthread.php?39827-Starting-Dynamic-Deathjack
looks pretty straightforward but very effective. like the new pose very much.

other suggestions?

I agree the repose in the link is fantastic.

I sometimes wonder when the sculptors look at stuff like that and do a "Now why didn't I think of that?"

Now with 100% more blog....

CLICK THE LINK to my painting blog... You know you wanna. Do it, Just do it, like right now.

I always had a problem with the DJ's gimpy legs. They just struck me as horribly atrophied and don't really fit the rest of the model, at least IMHO.

you're right. sometimes there are pose that with a couple of (very) slight modification change totally they're appearance. while the global design and sculpt of PP miniatures is usually great, the poses are often not so great...
