Hi all,
I'm a new 40k player ^_^ I work as a dental nurse around the corner from a local comic store and I swore I'd never get into warhammer as I'm a big anime and cosplay fan! But.....the comic store owner and friends there told me I am "Slaanesh", which, when they described it, made me curious so I started reading the Horus Heresy books and I'm completely addicted! I'll be playing Dark Eldar Wytches and Slaanesh Chaos Daemons - strange mix I know but I've got a great hedonistic storyline as my backstory to my army hehe so far I have Lelith and an Exalted Seeker Chariot of Slaanesh and I'm practicing my painting on Fantasy High Elf Horses. I'm currently up to Descent of Angels-HH

Can't wait to post some pics and get some (nice) feedback

Best of luck with your army - will you mostly just be painting or playing?

Make sure to post a painting blog once you have some pictures of your soldiers - it sounds like an interesting force!

At the moment I'm learning to paint but I go to the 40k gamin tournaments at the comic store after work on a Saturday and I sometimes cosplay for comic store events so I'm keen to play when my full army is assembled

I even found hello kitty faces for some of my Slaaneshy daemons and I'm practicing love hearts on the horses...I figured if I'm a girl I'm gonna make my army girly too

(I know people may not like it but oh well) oh! And my Lelith has a whip too

Haha, sounds like a plan - always paint and play in the way that keeps you interested.

Welcome to Dakka! I thought it rude not to retrun the favour... look forward to seeing some of your work, I always route for the bad guy hence why my Heresy force are traitor marines rather than loyalist! Good choice IMO. Get some of those pics up.

Thanks Stonie ^_^ well see when I read the HH books I was devo that Horus turned heretic but having read Fulgrim...well I must admit...Slaanesh did a fine job there hehe the thing is that all my pics are on my phone so they're pretty bad quality :(
