Subject: Government Gets Astroids

Secret Force Behind the Rise of the Tau

Hackers angry over the suicide of Internet activist Aaron Swartz took over the website of the United States Sentencing Commission (USSC) twice over the weekend, finally infecting the homepage with a playable version of the classic arcade game "Asteroids."
The hackers, claiming affiliation with the online movement Anonymous, also claimed to release a list of people in the federal Witness Security Program, also known as the Witness Protection Program, but that was quickly discovered to be a hoax.
That's a hack I can live with

If they didn't approve of what they saw as an innocent man being sentenced (which I don't agree with; the suicide is tragic but other than that he can feth off) then why on EARTH would they claim to have released info from the Witness Protection Programme, even if it turned out to be a hoax? They REALLY need to get some PR guys if they want people to become sympathetic towards them. Or they just have to wait until my dumb generation takes over.
