I’ve been trying to rearrange my modelling room desk (as the wife told me my models are “creeping around the room” And I had a light bulb idea with an old CD tower/stand.

Just blue tack the models to it and used it as adjustable mini shelves for “works in progress”

It may or may not “broomfondle” have been done already. (I’ve done a small search on cd shelf, cd, cd tower but didn’t find anything)

I'll be cutting some inserts out of plywood/MDF or something instead of the disk covers I'm using

Nice tip. Never thought about using CD towers for storing WIP stuff. I do something similar except its with finished miniatures. I use a DVD shelf for displaying my miniatures. I use a clear cellophane sheet(the kind used for enclosing gift baskets) as a cover and use post-it note double sided tape to tack it on. Simple but effective.
