This is my first post here on DakkaDakka, I have for your viewing pleasure my Soul Drinker force.
I have what you might call commitment problems when it comes to 100% finished minis, this started due to my NEED for a painted army (minis with no paint drive me bat crazy). Here you will see my painting skill from picking up a brush back at the end of 2010 my more recent work, I see a huge change but I am a little bias!
Comments and criticism are welcome, i am always open to thoughtful criticism and pointers from any and everyone!

You have a nice purple there, though it looks like you have two schemes going on, one is more of a red tone then the other. Did you change paint after the tacticals?

The answer to your question is yes. I had traveled to Japan for an extended stay, this unfortunately coincided with the Citidel paint range change, so i had purchased 3 pots of liche purple. They were in my baggage and exploded on my way home, thankfully i had them bagged up so my cloths made it out okay. But i had to switch over to the new paint range, hence the color change. That said i prefer the new colors as they better suit my vision of the chapter.
I will say that the new range makes it easier to get good highlights and blend through color for the amateuer like me. This creates a good opportunity in the future to strip them down and start over, for now i am gathering the funds for my 30k Imperial Fist Legion (10 MK III and 5 MK V so far), this takes time as i don't have allot of fun money to throw at the hobby!
