I got this installed the other week and my oh my was it fun to root out Deus Ex 1 again and replay it.
Super easy install, allows you to tweak the UI, run at whatever res your monitor supports, upgrades the level gfx significantly and just looks dam good.
Easily in my top 5 games of all time, the story, characters and levels are really second to none.
Genuinely recommned picking it up from Steam or wherever, just a tenner these days and a truely wonderful game (13 years old too!). Dont miss out.

I hated Deus Ex 1. The story and atmosphere were great, but the fact that JC Denton can't hit the broad side of a barn at the start pretty well ruined my immersion.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
I played the early stages of DE1 one, and while I loved the sense of being part of the story I'm not that big on stealthy games. Can you play it with a more balanced (semi-stealth) approach and expect to do reasonably well throughout?
You've got to play it fairly stealthy at the start, but as you go through you can equip lots of augmentations that make you better at assaulting stuff. By the time I got to China I was capable of taking out one of their military bots with a crowbar.
One of my all time favourites too, but I don't know if it would stand up to a second play through.
