Do orks get darker skin as they get bigger like orcs do?

In short yes, the older they get the bigger, broader, taller, darker they get to. Plus they learn more orky know how as well, but don't ask me how they do that, it must be they're zen mastery.

Come into my web, said the spider to the fly.
Come rest your wings, and let us talk eye to eye.
For I am a spider, and you are the fly. Now that you are here, let us sit, and say hi.
But I have have no morsel to share, nor anything to eat. But wait, what is that stickiness upon your feet.
Ah now I have you, now I can eat. Now I can enjoy you, or store you as meat.
For I am the spider, and you are the fly. How else could it have gone, between one such as you, and one such as I.

Orky knowledge is encoded into their DNA and is released as they get bigger and/or become a wierdboy.

and 40k was like McDonalds - you could get it anywhere - it wouldn't necessarily satisfy, but it was probably better than nothing.

I'm not so sure about orks becoming blue. According to the codex they do become darker for different reasons. Age, and exposure to combat can make them darker green. I also remember hearing somewhere that some of the orks that fought on Armagedon had been in battle on the planet for so long they became brown.

The deathskulls will paint themselves with blue paint, but I don't think they will become blue.

I think the idea that they get more orky knowledge as they grow older is just that they have seen more combat. and as well know, orky knowledge is combat. So, by definition, the older they are, the more combat they've seen.

In Fantasy I know Black Orcs were a magically created race made by Chaos Dwarves.

In 40k, I imagine that all Orks darken and get bigger as they fight and get older. One guy I know mentioned a theoretical ork as big as a planet and as black as space. But its not Canon.

In the background I understand that is the case, but many people seem like like to spend more time highlighting their Warbosses, so they end up with slightly lighter skin. :p

Hmm. That Lexicanium link claims that Orks have green blood, yet other sources suggest it is supposed to be red. That would be something that I would like to see resolved in the background.

GW says red. There actually was a short White Dwarf article about this very question.
That being said, it is well possible that some novel or whatever has them have green blood, and this is why Lexicanum says what it does. Prime example on what I keep preaching about "canon", interpretations and wikis.

[edit]Yup, Lexicanum says "Xenology". Well, add that one to that book's claims regarding Tau feet and Ethereal mind control, I guess.
