Hey i was just wondering if there are any cheep (not inexpensive) combos using Csm as primary detachment? I've only played a few 6th ed games and only a two of them with the newest codex for CSM and so far i've lost each time so i need a list that has a lot of cheese to counter-act some of the combos out there any advice?

It all depends on meta, what are you facing army wise?
Then you can build to go up against it.

Otherwise for allies you have some very good options.

IG bring Anti Air and bodies and cheap plasma vets for instance.

Necrons give you access to wraiths and flyers that will help you capture objectives.

Orks bring bodies in abundance.

Daemons bring you screamers and flamers.

So theres a lot of good stuff out there.
Depends on your Meta and preference really.

Some cheese you can find :
-> Cheap biker lord with Brand, riding around, burning MEQs
-> Heldrakes (any number, with flamer. They are cheesy)
-> PM are a good deal, they bring lots of gear for few points
-> Cultists, in large numbers, are a good "look out sir!" pool for a CC character (think Kharn, Typhus, Abbadon...)

I've had good luck with Necron allies. 'crons bring excellent flyers to assist with the CSM.

i recently came up with a 400point Chaos detachment for a Necron main army.

naked cultists, Heldrake, and a 3+ Invul Jetbike Lvl3 sorceror going around Shreiking and launching Firestorms

Experience is something you get just after you need it
