An Igloo Deep North in Canada, eh?

Quick thoughts:

Though it's preference, I've never found a FD exarch to be worth it. In the books, on paper, all his powers sound good. But in play? You're shooting meltas. 2D6+1 is hardly worth it. Neither is ignoring cover for 1 shot. Drop him.

Why is one GJB squad 76 pts? Does it have a Cannon?

I run DE allies and honestly, for the 5pts, I take 5x wyches just because they can hold an objective much better if a squad of plain marines come to contest. Their CC is much better.

Other than that...

He mans the Quad Gun, 2+ TL, and it counts as having the Exarchs powers.!

One does.

And I just have it because its cheaper. They are going to be in reserve for as long as they can be.

Oh yeah, forgot about the quad gun. I never use one, I run Nightwings instead so I totally forgot about that...

Anyway, Eldrad is with the Guard (I presume), so are you planning on walking the Lords up with them to keep in spirit range?
