New Australian company offering Infinity terrain, Blind Pig Laser. Since it's Australian, prices might seem a bit harsh to people on the other side of the lake (but to Australians, they're refreshingly cheap), but their stuff is definitely nice.

The great thing I've seen with their stuff is they all come on measured and cut pavement squares, which line up with each other and create sidewalks around buildings, and double wide alleys between buildings.

Below are some examples.

Looks nice, and that last one in particular looks like it would make a nice alternative to the Warmill Noodle bar. And the prices do look very reasonable.

Cool as well for you Antipodeans who will now be able to buy terrain without waiting for the parcel to arrive from the EU I guess!

I truly love what I see.

But regular shipping prices from Australia to Europe are abyssmal. Not to mention import tax and fees...

Still, wish you all the best for the future and hope you can find a European distributor soon!

3 buildings and 2 roof top accessory sets came out to $63.50 shipping to the USA.

Nice looking terrain, but I had to pass.

Those sets really are gorgeous, I'm feeling pretty envious of the Aussies on this one. I too hope they find an EU distributor!

These look great! I'm full of terrain though. Looking for more 19th century city blocks right now.

Wow those look fantastic! Mass kudos to them. A little steep for people up here but I'm ecstatic that aussies have an outlet down there now that doesn't cost them a kidney.

Just a comparioson for prices - over here, the MAS District 5 building is stocked by my FLGS and costs $45au. If you import it yourself, more due to shipping.

So something like this is a huge boon for the Australian Infinity community.

And how it looks painted.

Our TO at a recent ITS had these painted up. We had 23 players all up and a LOT of passing interest due to this table.

Man, that look great! Those cooling units are ace. Is that an R2-D2 on the table?

I'm sooooo happy I just made mine, otherwise I would have splurged. This means that I'll get it in a couple of years, in my next table-making cycle.

No R2 on that table.

Only concession to pop-culture was a blue police telephone box with a broken teleportation circuit (it was stuck in that spot for 2 days).

It's all laser-cut, from the aircon units to the streetlamps, towers and ladders. The ladders for the tall buildings are sliding ladders, too.

I'm assuming you need to putty the cab to get a smooth hull?

It looks so good though... it's giving me the hots.

The shipping to here from there will quickly cool you down.

Even with the nice promotion they're running now...

Well I haven't painted one yet but the tolerance on the fit is pretty good.
opppss... Just gave myself away didn't I?

there's two ways to get around the burning effect of the laser, one is give the edges a light sand, the other is to paint the edge with a 50/50 mix of pva glue and water to seal it.

Yeah postage is shocking, but the deal is ********************************************************. That seems to be easing the pain

Bugger, 5kg of terrain posted anywhere in the world for $55 including insurance.

Lol that's gotta be a typo lol. I think he meant if you buy at least 5kg of product you get shipping included. $55 for 5KG of terrain when the terrain is $28 for a 800g building would be insanely good.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Correction: Looks like he meant you get half price shipping if you buy over 5kg. The shipping for over 5kg to the US is coming up as $134 Oo

This is the first time I see postage being offered on the basis of weight rather than money spent.

I love the Commonwealth.

So, I have to order at least 5KG of terrain in order to qualify?

Yes, 4.5 -5 kilos. Due to the nature of airmail from Australia, this was the best way to go. All the weights are listed at the bottom of the product descriptions. On the postage page you can run your total through the Auspost calculator to get an idea of the normal postage

Beats the hell out of a lollypop!
