I often wondered that when I was looking at Inquisitor stuff. It looks like it's been cut and pasted and badly photoshopped onto a white background, too.

Probably because your browser is clearing cookies each session.

I think its down to a bad photo cut into a white background, plus the painted model is probably at least 10 years old. All in the age of the thing.

It's very old, like a lot of the specialist/collector models. It's due to age.

It's from back when GW kind of supported specialist games-- I got the impression that they basically had no budget, and I'd personally rather they make better minis than better paint jobs.

Y'know, i've always wondered, why do a lot of people say GW's model quality isn't very good? Is it that there are many flat surfaces on some models? How is that even a problem?

Do they even seel those big models anymore?

PM me if you want me to draw anything related to Warhmmer 40k. I will put it in my gallery for all to see.

They still sell them, but they like to pretend they don't and focus on their big 3 systems.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

They do, they're in the specialist games section. They also sell Tallarn Desert Raiders, Mordian Iron Guard, Valhallan Ice warriors, and the Steel Legion in the collector's section.

Huh. I was just asking because they have an entire tab for all these neat little models, but I, like, never see anyone talk about them or see them advocated.

And this makes me sad because they have such good models, like the Eversor Assassins and Kroot Mercenaries for Inquisitor as well as the cool stuff for the Necromunda games.

GW has gone from hero to near-zero in their games, really. If they went back to Blood Bowl, Inquisitor, and their other specialist games (hell, if they used Dark Heresy they would get a TON of customers IMO) they'd be doing better, and could probably try lowering their prices.

No they don't, thats why theres an "add to cart" button in the middle of the page that this entire thread is about.

Not sure if sarcasm~

But it just passed through my mind because they have the UK prices on the US site still there.

Check your country flag on the store; US prices on the US site here for that model.

My guess is that perhaps the Eavy Metal team didn't paint one of these models, so they used someone else's, who was a less accomplished painter.
