Hi there guys I got this chap for cheap off ebay, stripped and repainted him in 2nd Ed style (i.e. my child hood ;p) to lead my Blood Angels army against my mates Death Skull horde.

He was painted quickly last night (for the B&C challenge), and I'm pleased with the old school look - I used the 2nd Ed books for inspiration.

Anyway, any C&C appreciated!

I've got 3000+pts now painted up, and have only won one game so far! But I'm not used to such an aggressive army ;p so will do better with practice!

Cheers!

Thanks! Yep he survived his first game ;p (Though the dice gods deserted me and I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn!

I'll pop up some shoulder shots when I get some light in the morning ;p
But, here's one of him being brave!

Always nice to see 2nd ed minis - even more so when they're painted in 2nd ed schemes but today's standards. Very nicely done, sir

Very old school, I like him a lot. The banner is an especially nice touch, as are the flames on the power fist. Good compromise between old-school 'Eavy Metal and modern painting too, with the more modern base.
