Hey

I know in the past 6 months alone, ive bought over 1000 US dollars in airbrush, conpressor, complete restock of paint from vallejo line (50+ bottles), windsor & newton series 7 brushes (like 6 of them), weathering pigments, sculpting supplies, and 3rd party washes and what not. This is in top of a 400 dollar forge world order and a brand new csm army.

Got a new job. Lots of disposable income, lol

Hmm spent roughly 300 Euros on the games workshop website since september last year when I started. Also have bought some stuff at a local store, plasticard, tools etc. Im guessing like 450 euros in 5 months so I guess around 1000 euros a year or so.

For me it's a small price to pay for the joy I get from painting and converting miniatures.

I don't know about long term stuff but my new years resolution was to.. well not to cut back but to at least keep track of my spending this year.

So far I am up to $333 :/

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

In the last 6 months i have purchased an entire 2k tryandi army consisting of 3 tervigons, ebaying lots of guants, 2 flyrants biovores and much more

all in all i got lucky because a shot was closing up here so we got 40% off for a huge order. So in total ive prob spent 500 to complete an army and i have tons of extras i need to try.
