Ok so I am making a loyalist Emperors Children chapter.
( a) They missed the Heresy and were stuck in the warp
(b ) They are an elite group of EC who stayed Loyal
(c) They are a new chapter called the Children of the Emperor

( Just incase someone wants to point out the EC are Chaos etc )

Started as a side project to my Eldar ( and Necromunda gangs) but has quickly become my main focus. I have been working on a few ideas for my captain and have come up with this.
Whats peoples thoughts on it ?

Please ignore the blue tac this is tempory and I need a little more work with the greenstuff on the shoulder join, also need to do a bit more work with my needle file. I have attempted to remove all the Blood Angel iconograpy apart from on the power glove knuckles and the head ( iron halo :p ) I am aware the Lightning Claw looks a little long and the Green stuff un-neccecary, however the shoulder does not attach without a buffer, the picture makes this look worse than IRL and is empasised by the blue tac.
Finished model will be based on either a 60mm or a 60mm and flyer base as he will be using a jump pack. Also have been told that using a Power Fist and Lightning Claw is not really effective, however I am going for asthetics rather than a power gaming pov.
Anyway, please drop me some ideas or comments. Also linked are my current EC so you can see an idea of the colour scheme. The Commander will have a lot of gold , like the squad sargeant.

Update so far.
Still some extensive work to be done on the face and im debating dry brushing some Necron compound to highlight.
Still thinking of more ideas for the base as well.

The finished article, any constructive criticism would be nice. Also the first time ive ever tried using a glow effect. Not sure how happy I am with it as Im not a fan but saw how amasing it looked on some of the ultra marines in the gallary so thought to give it a whirl.
