Hi, all.

I have a quick question on the Imperial Guard's Valkyrie's armaments. The choices of main armament are either 2x Hellstrike missiles, or 2x Multiple Rocket Pods. Now, the Hellstrikes are one-shot-per-game, but the Multiple Rocket Pods fire a Large Blast Template. Now, here's the question; Does your Multiple Rocket Pods fire a LBT each, or do you treat both Multiple Rocket Pods as one weapon and only use one LBT?

That might seem obvious, but I can't seem to work it out. I assume it's a LBT each, as there's two Multiple Rocket Pods and it's not listed as twin-linked, thus they're two independent weapons. However, the main reason for the confusion is that using two LBTs every Shooting Phase seems a bit over powered, so before I use it I thought I'd ask.

Cheers,

Two large blasts, not twin linked.

Two large blasts. It's two separate weapons; there is no anbiguity.

They're only S4 anyway, right?

For some real fun, put 4 of them on a vulture & point it at a horde of boyz/gaunts/guardsmen

Meh, I see more dice in my games against tau within 15 inches of me than I do in games with lots of big templates.

I'd hardly call two LBT scattering op
