Hey all, finally got these done. These models were a huge leap of technique for me, first airbrushed models and I also used the salt weathering technique heavily on them. They've also got many layers and filters with oil washes and streaking. I really wanted them to look as filthy and nasty as possible. Hope you enjoy!

Rhino #2

And with magnetized Havoc Missile Launcher

Rhino #19

Had to scratchbuild a little Havoc launcher for this one, also magnetized

Top notch I would however suggest either some gloss or light water effects on the tracks to give them more of a caked in wet mud look.

Even without that it is superbly done.

Thanks man, and good idea. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so I can clear coat them and then add some glossy effects.

Huh. I guess that's one place to put those little panel things. I have a bunch of them that I've never used because I can't think of a good place to put them on.

That mud looks really cool. I still need to put some much on my Rhinos, but I'm not sure if I should go ahead and try it now or wait until a weekend when it gets warmer (Living in Georgia sure has it's perks).

Edit: Just noticed that you replaced the Rhino's exhausts with the dragonmouththings. That looks pretty cool, too.

I normally hate Nurgle'd vehicles, but these are impeccable. I love the concept... Nurgle without goop. Perfect.

LOL thanks, and for some reason I read that as 'Nurgle without poop.' But I suppose that also applies to Nurgle stuff...

Thank you, and I posted a brief tutorial in my P&M blog thread, link in my sig, on pg. 7. For Nurgle stuff, this technique is actually fairly easy, and gives great, disgusting, filthy results. PM me if you have any questions, be glad to help out.

These look great! I really like the weathering and the little details and extras really make it pop. My friend is starting a Nurgle/Death Guard army and I'm going to show this to him for inspiration.
