I did enjoy the darker reds of these guys. It was a part of the development of the 'shaded basecoat' technique.

Very nice

I love the use of the crimson scheme and the subtle gold finery - very Blood Angels. A good reversal of the Death Company colours as well.

If you check out the blog and do a search on shaded basecoat (or basing for the other question), you will get a few tutorials and many references to that. Way too much to explain here!

It is so important to everything that I do, that is why it is the first painting video in my set of painting DVD's
