I was wondering can I model my terminator Librarian from the DA codex with a force sword as his force weapon?

Yes. He has a "Force Weapon" Right? You can model it as you see fit.

If it says 'Force Weapon' and not a specific type, then yes.

Ok it does just say force weapon, it's a generic librarian I'm putting in terminator armor not a named one, I just wanted to get some better AP on his weapon.

If a model has access to a power weapon or a force weapon, he will have whatever type he is modeled with. If you model him with a maul/staff/mace he has a Maul. If he has a sword/falchion/dirk/shiv he has a sword. If he has a spear/lance/sharp stick he has a lance. If he has an axe/billhook/halberd/naginata/polearm he has an Axe.

A naginata is more sword than axe. It is literally a sword on a stick, so I would say that naginatas are swords. But really that is splitting hairs.

Some of those polearms are more lances than axes. Naginata, for example, and some pole arms (such as pikes)

Sure why not, though on a TDA librarian I think the force axe is the better choice, and on PA librarian I like the staff better than the sword. The sword is only better than the staff on T4 or less 3+ save guys (admittedly that is a great many of the armies).

The sword is also better if you aren't looking to do the same level of damage in the second turn of fighting.
