Abysswalker wrote:Still new here but my suggestions looking at your list is to make the following changes. Firstly at that point value you need both troops and a way to deal with baleturkeys. I think the following list provides both.
Eldar Force
HQ Eldrad - 210 (goes in wraith guard)
Troops
10 Wraith guard - Spirit seer with singing spear and conceal 399
3
GJB - 1 with Cannon - 76
Elites:
Harlequins x 7 with a Shadow seer. (Only 5 kisses sadly as just a few points shy, so lose the 3 without first to wounds where possible) (Baron goes here) - 194
Heavy Support
Wraithlord -
BL and
EML 155
Wraithlord -
BL and
EML 155
Warwalker Squadron - 3 x 2
SL - 180
Dark Elder
HQ
Baron -105
Troops
10 x kabbies with
DL - 115
10 x Kabbies with
DL - 115
Heavy support
Razor wing Fighter 145
Total 1849
Not sure how well that'd do but might be worth a try.
This is very close to what I was thinking but I just don't know if the Voidraven Bomber is better for me than the Razorwing. I also have more love vested in the walkers as they really have a high potential to damage both flyers and troops where a
BL ML carrying Wraithlord doesn't have it. I hate losing my Avatar just for his punch but I feel I would have a hard time baby sitting him and the fear bubble is just short of worthless.
Here's a list I whipped up:
Eldrad (with
WG)
Baron Sathonyx (with Harlies)
6+1 Harlequins with 5 Kisses (Shadowseer)
10 Wraithguard with Spiritseer
3 Guardian Jetbikes with Shuriken Cannon
10 Kabalite Warriors with Dark Lance
10 Kabalite Warriors With Dark Lance
3 Eldar War Walkers with 2x Scatter Laser each
3 Eldar War Walkers with 2x Scatter Laser each
Wraithlord with Bright Lance, Scatter Laser, 2x Flamers
Razorwing Jetfighter (basic loadout)
This comes out to 1848. I am really on the War Walkers side but just would need someone to explain to me how the Wraithlord would be a better choice. The only thing I can come up with is that he lasts much longer than the War Walkers but it's hard to argue against the fire power they spew out.
