Hello guys

So im hacking away at painting my crimson fists army, all things have gone pretty well. All little problems have been over come until i came to the matter of company banners and standars. I have noooo chance at all of making them. So far my attempts look like my 19month old daughter has given it a crack.......to be fair hers would probably look better on the models. Does anybody know of a site or source i could find sum on online??? Painting them not an issue, its just the design that has me stumped. Any ideas n tips il be more than happy to give a go.

Thanks guys!!

If you find a banner design you like through a Google Image search, print it out at the size you need. If you don't have a decent graphics software suite, GIMP is free and will do the job. Prime your standard or banner I'd suggest grey or a light colour for this) and cut the printed picture to size. You can go one of several routes at this stage. You can tape the picture on top of the standard and use a blunt pencil to trace the outlines of the design. If you use some decent pressure it should create subtle grooves in the primer that you can use as a template. Alternately, you could try this with a sheet of carbon paper, or print the image in reverse, trace it with a soft pencil (B or softer), flip the paper, and rub the back to transfer the pencil line to your standard.

I hope that makes sense!

You could also print the banners on decal paper and apply that to the plastic banner piece.
