Yea, that is what's blocking me from investing anything more into my Skorne collection.

I'm not a fan of PP's aesthetic design choices usually (there are some stand out models though, even for sceptics like me) but these looks pretty cool even with the duplicate sculpts.

Neet I think I found my Death cult Assassin models though i would love to know how they scale next to 40k stuff.

They tend to be marginally larger than 40k minis, and around the same proportions.

I like, now to see how good they actually are on the table.

To be honest I'd rather them in metal, spend the extra time putting them together and keep the detail than have to deal with low-quality plastics.

We're not a faction, that's why.

I was really planning on liking these guys when I first heard about ninja elves with two weapons, but these leave me sort of cold. They're neat, but I don't think they are nearly as nice as the houseguard halberdiers or the invictors or the fantastic battle mages. I have only about 15 points of retribution and was planning on expanding them once my skorne was painted, and was thinking these might be a good way to go, but I may end up getting a unit of battle mages and a unit of stormfalls instead.

How do these elf guys play, as a faction?

any fans of them that have any info on how they work/ don't work?

Have the option of getting into them, but looking for info first, before I jump in on them.

Other then that, these guys look ok, but they just have the sword thing for them, and for fifty bucks and no options?

I don't know enough about this faction to know if thats such a good deal unless they have something to cover the advance, or if they are good in cover/ concealment or not.

By the description, they have Stealth, Pathfinder and Arcane Assassin. By the model (and the MHSF), I'd say something like DEF 14 ARM 11 with lowish POW and two swings. If that's all they have, probably a fairly inexpensive unit (4/6). Of course, with Eiryss3 as a UA that's all subject to rapid change, and if they keep Jack Hunter they'll definitely be more expensive (5/8 I'd wager) as they'll scrap warjacks rather nicely. Backstab and Gang might also push them out of the 4/6 price range.

Assuming that's true, getting them upfield is unlikely to be a huge issue, between Stealth and high defense, and they'll act as a rather effective melee tarpit no matter what (something Ret doesn't really have right now). Question is whether they'll act as a cheap tarpit unit with minimal hitting power or as a viable assassination vector instead of just threatening buffed infantry. Given Ret's general play style of threat saturation I'd guess the latter, and put them in the same general "kill these dudes now" group as Kayazy.

Do you think they'll give them precise or precision strike making them more akin to praetorians?
