Hi all

So, I posted recently in the bikeletters topic, about how I wanted to convert some bloodcrusher models for my army.

However, my entire army up till now, has a running theme of nurgle thing's, for example I use 5 "Bilespewer's", which are flamers of Tzeentch, painted up to look like rotting vomit spewing nasties, and "Plaguebat's", which are screamers converted from tyranid gargoyles, headless and rotted up and such, without the arms. But now, I'd love to try the same with bloodcrushers.

I'd love to have plaguebearers riding something, and it seems to fit in my mind, seeing as how bloodcrushers are slow like infantry, so i'd love to make something, but I can't find anything for them to ride on.

I'm thinking have them ride on slug's, maggot's, flies, or anything similar, but I cannot find models in or out of the GW range to fit the bill (I'm aware that forgeworld make fly-riders and toad riders, but they cost far too much in my opinion)

Any help finding a model from another range, that could be converted or used as a mount for a plaguebearer of nurgle, would be highly appreciated

What about a modified version of Bioshock big brothers with the plaguebearers being the little sisters?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Well, if you have looked at the new WD with the battle report of C:CD in it, you'll notice that the C:CD player had some toad-looking things in his army that look interesting that he used as his Beasts of Nurgle. I don't know if the models are a custom sculpted unit or just the new BoN that will come in the second wave. I would take a look at those and see if those would fit the bill for what you want to use.

"I mean, we're talking more badass than Liam Neeson riding into battle on the back of a liger, wearing a top hat whilst wielding excalibur in one hand and a flail made of live honey badgers in the other, to the tune of All Along the Watchtower."

You could try something out of the fantasy lizardman army. I'm not sure on particular models or costs, but many slaan conversions?
