I know the new color, Warplock Bronze, is the replacement for the old Tin Bitz paint from the previous line. What I'm looking for its equivalent from other companies paint selections and I figured the people of DakkaDakka would be a great place to ask.

Note that a lot of things on the chart are not exact matches- many are just the closest possible match.

Vallejo's Tinny Tin. The game color range was a remarkably good match to the previous citadel line of paints.

CraftSmart metallic brown is pretty close, and retails for 69¢ for two ounces - or approximately 1/25th the per-unit price of GW.
(Incidentally, it's on sale at Michaels at 3/$1 this week.
Why yes, I do happen to work there. Why do you ask? )

I'd suggest the Vallejo Game Color equivalent, Tinny Tin. While I haven't personally used that particular paint, I can vouch for the overall quality of the line and most of their colors are reasonably close to their old-line GW counterparts.
As another Michaels employee, but a conscientious one (and one with minimal investment in overall sales - I'm a custom framer and my store isn't going under any time soon, whether I push paint or not ), I'm going to suggest that you avoid Craftsmart paints. Like the ing plague. There's a reason they're the cheapest of the craft paints available. Granted, like any line, some colors are better than others, but every bottle I've tried has been a severe disappointment, even in less demanding applications than miniature painting. If your intended task doesn't involve slathering on a 1/16" thick layer (likely with heavy streaking, as none of the paints I've used took well to thinning), I can't guarantee any degree of completeness to the coverage.

That's what the clerk at my FLGS suggested as well. Also it will be my first use of paint in an eye dropper style bottle so it will be a learning experience.

Sorry to necro an old thread but I Googled this and the thread is pretty succinct.
Is there a similar colour in Vallejo's model colour range?

IIRC Cote D’arms is still making paint and were the guys who actually made GW’s range back then. Might be worth looking into.

Vallejo's Tinny Tin is still available. I haven't found any difference in quality between their Model and Game colour ranges.
