So I kind of want to build a lord on a dragon for my WoC army, but obviously GW doesnt give us nice things like that. I don't want to use Galrauch because he's a special character and the most expensive model I know GW to make. I would convert a HE dragon but that would get pricey since Chaos dragons have two heads and that would run even more than Galrauch.
Anyone have some ideas on an affordable conversion? I can't sculpt from scratch but I can do some green stuff work where needed. Also not worried if I don't meet the 50% since I only play friendly games.
Dark Eldar could potentially enslave the galaxy.
Necrons could potentially destroy everything.
Chaos could potentially slaughter everyone.
Tyranids could potentially eat everyone.
Tau could potentially raise prices on import good from the Eastern Fringe.
What about basing one around the Helldrake? It's Chaos so that covers one problem. You may be able to pick up a spare Hell Drake head of ebay or something.
I saw that and my LGS runs Spiky Bitz so I could probably get the extra bits easily enough. But the Heldrake, as nice as it might be, looks so very mechanical, technological, and 40k-ish.
