You know, your kid might be on to something there with that bridge design.
Yeah, the glass gems are a bit too Eldar, but the crennelated (up and down wall) look at the back, on a low level platform, could be pretty flash if modelled up all Victorianlich.

something like that would look good on the steamship, i like the idea of metal iron work and stone bulidings together, and that is very gothic..when i bulit the inquisitorial tower ,i used wooden Dado rail or cornice pannel Decorative Mouldings to add pattern easily .

A bridge fashioned after a bridge...
I would have the suspension arms on one side of the bridge supporting the flight deck just for the cool factor.

hello peeps, your all commitment now^^ cool.
at shrike: your link looks cool, i digested the essence of what you were trying to show me...
at chibi: i wont do an actual bridge, no sir^^ but i do have a railing to do there anyway so i might to do it with style and the towerbridge has a ton of it^^
at neil:
them "kugelpanzer"s look nice, saw them on shaso´s blog and the recent kugelpanzer thread as well. i like the idea, but i am not sure for my victorians if this would be the way...also i have bought six imperial pistoliers riders and hope they will be coming soon to present here^^...
tanks, well for the commander...after our recent discussion about the mark V i actually now am kind of in love with the A7V
although it is of german origin it looks for me most fitting for my victorians...
and about the penny farthing...at firt i thought it was about some small coins and some unhealthy winds...but after i googled it i came up with
and your not serious with me...do you really imagine stout Imperial guardsmen pedaling into battle on these things to face a raging horde of orcs or heretics...?

that pic does it no justice...try this:

I see that you found the WWI tanks Vik! The A7v in 1/35th would be nice as 1/72 is harder to convert.

ah dont corner me man...on the web i dont have the same posabilities as with my kids as when they dont do my biddings...^^
well just let me say this: the rule of cool...
see your point is invalid as there is nooooo parallel universe yet so small as it might be as their inhabitants would think about a penny farthing to be looked at and see it as cool way of transportation...
i would gladly accept to use hoovers (vacuum cleaners for you colonials out there on that american landmass) as means of transportation than these wheels...
case closed and new inspirations accepted...
vik^^ Automatically Appended Next Post: at shaso:
yep the A7V i found but much earlier as i was searching for mark V templates and then this hit me... and to make one from scratch would seem a bit easier as it is mainly a box with treads and i think it is fairly easier than the mark V...
vik again...still not talking again about bicycles...lol

saw some on ebay. de too a couple of days ago...but i want to do another scatchbuilt to battle hone my skills more^^
and to do it chaper...well in the first anyway...the airship prooves to be a can without a bottom... or better bottomless pit^^ lots of money poured in already...
at shrike:
but what about the pe- >smack<
exactly^^
your chimera idea at least is something that migt work...but you and me both now that to get more than six soldiers with their equipment inside that carriage would be tantamount to sexual harrasment^^
and also i will be using the glassesboxes i bought as small flying vessels...will there still be the need of chimeras ? hmmm have to think about that...
and:
you too man! sit down and have athought about what you just did!
vik Automatically Appended Next Post: had a quick look at ebay. de and actually found quite a lot of auctions selling the model...built/unbuilt and all in the warhamer suitable scale...well i just bid 5€ on a two day remaining auction...will see what will become of this...
