Thats a very nice collection of drop pods, I wish I could paint them that quick.

LOVE the scale effect on the pods, and the sallies overall are looking amazing. I think you're at your best when painting bright colours

Love the paintjob you've done on these guys, the gold especially look good, though I'm not too sure on the bases, it looks good on the smaller bases but on the dreadnaught base it looks a little off.

Also, I second the Sallies base thing. That looks a bit off. A simple drybrush over that textured base would go a long, long way to giving it more visual interest.

You clearly know how to paint, but man... those bases are killing me! Everyone finds themselves a rock to perch on. A tuft would go a long way towards breaking that up and giving it some visual interest.

lol I can only paint them how the customers want them :-P everybody seems to want these bases!! I have got a army coming soon with dif bases though.....

I know how clients can be, but I tend get pretty good liberty from my own. C'est la vie. Eager to see what you can do with them when turned loose a bit.

Not bad work at all but, I am not a fan of the overdone airbrushing on the bases. The Maulerfiends there is so much detail missed. I love the Salamanders stuff though.

Dave,i love the gritty look you have got with the Raven Guard and the black/red contrast on the Eldar is top notch mate.

I personally still like the white arms for raven guard vets but they still look awesome. Also great job with the raven guard skin, much better than the ones in the space marine codex

Did your red flatten out in the pics? I swear I can see a bit more gradient in there (especially on the Libby shoulder), but I had a similar issue when photographing a BA commission a few months back. Just wondering if you had the same issue.

My favourite is the twin lightning claw guy. For me the green power weapons could do with some work [glow emanating from the 'node' rather than the tip] and not a fan of the verdigris on the bronze parts, but overall very nice.

I like power weapons like that and I am usually a fan of the patina, but for BA, I think they need the bling. Gold!
