Everyone loves Hide. She is even a princess! (Though if you want, there is a cynical side to her design. She wears armor to show off the new system of armor destruction they added in that game, so she was put in the game to have her armor smashed off. The other half of that is she has layers and still looks sensible even with all her armor smashed off. Most of the other characters... Ya you can tell they weren't deigned with this system in mind.)

On Soul Calibur's character design, I really like Ivy's alternate costume in Soul Calibur, first of the name, on Dreamcast. It was a bit sexualized, but not outrageously, especially compared to the main one, and very, very classy. As far as I know, it was never used again…

Oh the unfortunate implications are rife (but the Evas themselves were meant as a deconstruction of 'absentee mother' stereotype. See unlike us westerners, who tend to favor the absentee father, the Japanese tend to be more fond of the absentee mother in fiction).

There was nothing better about that picture, it is preposterous, ridiculous looking, and sexist in and of itself. I mean really.. as if that beats cricket.
Plus the U.K had Margaret Thatcher as PM decades ago. The most famous female diplomats America has got is a trio of Ultra-Christian women that all think they should obey their husbands and let them make all of their decisions for them.
When it comes to equality, Europe has the U.S. soundly thrashed, because they pay less attention to.... actually Ill just shut up Im not allowed to talk about it, but you know what I mean.
I will happily concede the equality point when the south grows up a little, Hilary Clinton becomes the next President, and Wild Women Hoggers is off the air.
We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

In terms of Ripley, my GF made me watch the Alien movies I brought her. As of last night I have now seen 1 and 2 of the series.
Its actually pretty cool. The Marines reminded me of the mobile infantry in the starship troopers movie. But that spanish heavy gunner lady was not something I expected to see.
Some good female characters in those movies. They didnt feel shoehorned in like women in modern movies.

Forget Hilary, they need Elizabeth Warren.

Aye shes alright as well. There are several other good poltical women in the states, but none of them have ever been on the VP ticket.

You write a lot.. You know brevity is something something. I try to keep my RP stuff short and simple.
It's a character profile, so it does get long with background included. The site has been read only for months, so it would easily be 50%+ longer if I could edit it with recent events.

Wait a second, since Obama was elected, some % of mericans stated there is no discrimination anymore, so if they can elect a women in 2016 than they can claim there is no sexism as well.

Does that start with are and finish with n? If so, I feel the need to point out if can vary greatly on a state basis. For instance, religion is pretty damn strong in Greece and Poland, while Armenia and France are very secular.

First time watching so im not overly familiar with it all. But yea thats the one.
I thought her role was pretty good, and given how almost everyone died its pretty fine. But now it explains that military pilot lady in the avatar always dying in her films.

Though Kat is a rather stereotype in the game. Her AI is so awful at driving, to the point she tends to drive you off a cliff.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Michelle Rodriguez. She does not die in her father's movie at least . [edit]Oh, wait, where did I get the idea she was Robert's daughter? Apparently, they are completely unrelated.[/edit]

Try playing the game rather then taking Anitas word for it. If the women see you, they scream and you are swarmed by guards, you hit them, they screamed and you are swarmed by guards, you use a gun you are swarmed by guards. You ignore the dancers for the most part and go in for the target. Its 1 out of 20 chapter and all of 5 minutes.
The game is about stealth, you get actively punished for killing civilians, the scene Anita uses in her video has her dragging the body using the longest route possible while stepping on the other body. You really have to go out of your way to do what Anita shows.
Try 2:30 seconds to 6 minutes ish

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

You know I just noticed this. The person who made that video didn't play the game. They just watched people playing it. I mean I get why you would want to avoid it. It's not the best game out there, but if your going to try and talk about it it might be helpful to play it. If all you do is watch a small amount of a lets play, you might get a inaccurate picture. It gets even more funny when he says that Anita filmed the footage herself. That implies that she has played a game that he hasn't.
Edit: I can't believe I didn't notice this before. Knocking out a person is only a -100, but hiding a body in a box is a +100. It's not a score punishment to knock them out, drag their body around and then dump it in the conveniently placed body box.
I guess another thing to notice is there are videos of players doing creepy things in the strip club on youtube.

Do you want to start that conversation again? Because you stopped addressing my arguments, not the other way around.
I stopped addressing them because I refuse to debate with someone who does not play fair. Making claims and not supporting them is gak and I won't be subjugated to baseless ranting
