What's the build the build to make a sorcerer +1/++3? Can't find the info anywhere.

There are many ways to get to 1+, for the 3++ is MoT + talisman of preservation and the tzeentch gift to reroll the wards saves.

For the 1+ you can grab a mount and/or magic shields to boost those 3 armor points

This seems to be the standard build. For the armor save people put the sorc on a Disk and give him an enchanted shield, though you could put him on a barded steed

And just pray you never roll 2's

Either disk with Enchanted Shield and Scaly Skin gift, 4+ Ward, and tzeentch gift that rerolls 1s for wards.

Or instead of Disk and Enchanted Shield give him a Barded Steed.

Our you could go Daemonic Mount to get him T5.

You can also take dawn stone (re-roll armor save), armor of destiny (heavy armor 4+ ward), scaly skin and the tzeench gift that gives re-rolls of 1's on ward. Mount on barded daemonic mount.

That gives you a 1+ re-rollable save, 3+ ward (re-rolling 1's) Toughness 5, cause fear, 2 S5 magic attacks, and you still have 25 points left for more magic gear (I'd go sword of might for 3 more S5 attacks).

Lots of combo's lead to the 1+/3++ guy. All include either the talisman of preservation or Armor of Destiny. After that, it's just a combo of gear and mount for the armor save.

Tali of Preservation, MoT, 3rd Eye. I also gave mine the crown of command and tar pitted a unit of 40 Saurus for 3 turns before he conceded. Also put the dragon helm on this fool and slam him into a flaming unit. 2+ ward against flames with rerollable 1's

Is the crown a talisman or enchanted item?

I'm looking at the book right now. Enchanted item.

Any thoughts on the Spell Shield on this guy? That's a 2+ ward save against spells, rerolling 1s.
